The Madrasa Principal Leadership: Its Role in Fostering Qur'an Reading Culture

Fostering a culture of reading the Qur'an can be supporting factor in achieving vision and mission madrasah. The development also an effort made by madrasas to help students who have not been able read properly correctly. madrasah principal plays important role fostering madrasa. This study aims determine at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. data obtained through process interviews, observation, documentation. Sources research were from informants trusted considered capable answering problems studied, namely head madrasa, teachers, Lampung, Indonesia. analyzed several stages, reduction, presentation, verification, conclusion. validity was tested triangulating methods sources. According study's findings, program Lampung achieve madrasah's mission. leadership seen his role, which always directs realize does things foster with abilities he has, namely: ability terms personality is that, as leader, responsible for all authority
